My Hair, A-gain.

I think I burned my hair two weeks ago when I gave it two separate weaves - one day after the other.

The weaves turned out OK, as in presentation, but now my hair is unbelievably frizzy; its texture is crumpled-up and completely unhappy; and frankly, I wouldn't be at all surprised if it ALL suddenly were to detach at the roots and land gracefully in one big clump on the floor.

I am trying not to blow dry it much, but that's hard because it doesn't look so great un-done. It's fine when I comb it after conditioning it, but as soon as it begins drying (even air-drying) it becomes totally unmanageable and frizzy. (I really fried it.)

TIGI BedHead Self Absorbed Mega Vitamin Shampoo 12 Oz.Any suggestions on how to curb the damage I've done - besides just waiting five years?

I found a Bedhead product at Costco that seems to be helping a little bit (it's been more than 3 weeks). For the large bottle of conditioner it was about $10.
Garnier Fructis Fortifying Shampoo For Dry or Damaged Hair 25.4 FL. OZ
I began using the Garnier Fructis about three months ago for regular shampooing, conditioning. I like it more than others I've used since my decade or so of using the Kirkland shampoo and conditioner (it's such a great deal).Kirkland Signature Hydrating Shampoo, 2 Pack Bonus (2 X 40 Fl Oz)

Conclusion to story: Don't weave your own hair, or better yet, don't ever get a highlight or weave. I could have avoided this mess, plus saved a ton of money over the years.

Hmmmm maybe try Redken Anti-Snap it is in a blue bottle and is a leave in moisturizer. I recently took on the adventure of weaving my own hair, I thought it would be simple since I am going on 8+ years of weaving everyone else. But it wasn't as easy as I thought. Also alot of people swear by pureology, I am not a fan of the smell but the end result is good.
