Would You Volunteer?

Where do they find these volunteers? My son just loved this activity at a pre-school fund-raiser fair last week.

Here is a great site a friend told me about recently: idealist.org. You can find various volunteer opportunities - even ones you can do from home. (!) One example she told me about was volunteering to train refugee mothers that are here in the U.S. and need support and knowledge regarding raising their children here - this position is done via the Internet/e-mail. How cool is that?
